The camp was an undeniable success! It was wonderful to meet some new people, see some new horses and also the old ones. Yes, we will do it again next year. Big thank you to Craig Hodgman for spending the day in the baking sun with the girls. They really enjoyed your teaching style! Big thank you also goes out to Sabine MacDonald for her time photographing the girls on Saturday afternoon. The pictures I've seen are fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more. Also huge thanks goes out to my family for their support, effort and understanding. You astound me, truly. <3

It is with undescribeable sadness that we announce the loss of Smirnoff, aka Sam. He sustained a serious injury to his heel in his paddock last weekend. The injury caused so much damage that there was little likelihood that he could recover from it. I made the terribly difficult decision to give my best friend the dignity of a gentle sleep while he was still beautiful and happy and not in serious pain. He will be missed more than words can describe.
Training and handling is available for halter and under saddle horses as well as coaching in dressage and western riding. Clinics are available and Shimmer-E Equestrian will be hosting a couple of weekend summer riding camps this year!

Amanda's students have seen results in the tack and on the ground with their horses as well as in and out of the show ring with ribbons and championships from the schooling show or A-circuit to Regionals, Provincials and Nationals. The principal in riding is having FUN and riding logically.

Show:
Halter and under-saddle training, handling/showing are available. Cost of training is $650/month ($200 Board and $450 training). Board for all horses includes top quality hay/cubes twice a day with a custom grain program as well as a head to hoof check twice a day, every day. Other services available include show trimming, braiding and conditioning. Feel free to contact Amanda with your personal needs.
Board:
We do have limited space for outdoor board. Included in your board is top quality hay/cubes twice a day as well as a custom grain program and a head to hoof visual check twice a day every day. Board does not include vet, ferrier, deworming, vaccination; however, we do a herd program and regularly schedule our ferrier for the day, get group discounts of vaccines and deworming. Our board rate is $200/month.
